OrderCup supports printing to laser and thermal printers on both Windows and Mac OSX. We support silent printing to both laser and thermal printers on both Windows and Mac OSX, i.e. using our own technology, we bypass the print dialogs of Windows and Mac OSX, significantly streamlining the label generation process.
In order to detect and use printers directly, you have to have Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed. Please review our KB article on installing the latest Java and JRE on you machine at the link below.

Once JRE is installed, you can easily detect your printers as outlined below.
Go to Settings --> Devices
Click the Detect all available printers link.
A list of available printers should be populated in the Available Printers drop downs. You can now enable and configure the printers as required.
Troubleshooting Java installation (on Windows)
If a list of printers is not returned when you click this link, you can
Confirm that you have a recent Java version loaded. Go to Control Panel, and click the Java icon. If you do not see the Java icon, you do not have Java loaded on your machine. You can download and install the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from the Java website here.
If the Java icon is there, confirm that you have the latest version of the JRE installed (you can check for Java updates from the Java tab on the Java Control Panel).
If you have an updated JRE version, and clicking the Detect all available printers link still does not work, try clearing you applets by going to the General tab, click Settings --> Delete Files --> check Applets and Applications check boxes --> click OK.
